HR Generalist
CBIZ is partnering with a growing healthcare organization seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a 135+ employee company undergoing expansion through acquisitions. Position is located in Nassau County.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations, including coaching, conflict resolution, and investigations
- Oversee and drive performance management processes
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and best practices
- Support and enhance company culture during a period of growth
- Supervise one HR/Talent Specialist
- Partner with executive leadership on HR strategy and organizational initiatives
- Assist with scaling HR processes as the company grows
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of HR Generalist experience
- Strong background in employee relations, investigations, and compliance
- Experience in healthcare or professional services environments is a must.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small team environment
- Must be based in or able to commute to Long Island or Queens
Work Environment
- Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility for occasional extended hours
- Limited travel (5–10%) to local sites
- High-visibility role reporting to executive leadership
