Billing Manager

CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking a skilled and results-oriented Billing Manager for our Atlanta, GA based client. This hands-on Billing Manager will oversee the company’s end-to-end billing operations and ensure accurate, timely, and contract-compliant invoicing. This role is responsible for managing billing processes, collections, automation initiatives, and staff development while partnering cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full customer billing cycle, ensuring timely, accurate, and contract-compliant invoicing.
• Oversee collections activities and serve as the primary point of contact for billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Lead billing system administration, automation initiatives, and process enhancements utilizing billing and ERP platforms.
• Partner with Accounting, Operations, Sales, Legal, and IT teams to improve billing processes and operational effectiveness.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Billing Specialists/Analysts while monitoring billing performance metrics and supporting month-end close and audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle experience.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of contract-based billing, collections, billing automation, and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service abilities.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the office.
Salary range: $90,000 – $100,000 annually
